Why LockIN

Your to-do list isn't the problem. Starting is.

When you work from home, every task shares a screen with every distraction. LockIN takes your focus off the screen and puts it on your desk.

Everything feels urgent

When twenty tasks shout at once, answering email is easier than starting the hard thing. The decision matrix sorts the noise from what matters in minutes.

Your planner lives on your phone, and so do the distractions

You open a productivity app and end up in a feed. LockIN keeps the plan on your desk, so you can start focusing at a glance without unlocking anything.

Progress is invisible

You put in hours and have nothing to show for it. With LockIN, a copper knob slides from 0 to 100% as you work, and a flipped card shows you finished.

Try it

Feel the finish line.

Fill in your card, then drag the knob. That small, physical slide is the point: progress you can see from across the room.

Slide the knob all the way to 100% and watch the card flip

Drag the copper knob, or use the arrow keys.

Roll the cube onto its feet and 25:00 starts counting down on its display.

The cube timer

Twenty-five minutes. Nothing else.

LockIN is built around the Pomodoro technique: one task, one 25-minute sprint, then a short break. The cube timer lives on your desk, not in your pocket, so you never have to pick up your phone to start a sprint.

  • Dot-matrix displayReadable at a glance, with no screen to scroll.
  • Protective sleeveA soft, rounded sleeve that keeps the cube safe.
  • Made for sprintsStart, focus, finish. Then flip the card.

What's inside

Everything for a calmer desk, in one box.

Nine pieces that work together. Plan on one side, focus on the other, and pack it all into the folio when you're done.

  • The LockIN folio opened flat: cognac stitched edges, a charcoal fabric center and two copper rings.

The crew

Six countries. One desk.

We're a small crew from Malaysia, Germany, Australia, Argentina, Nepal and India, building LockIN together across six time zones. When one of us closes the folio for the night, someone else is sliding in the next card.

Right now, most of us are awake.

FAQ

Good questions.

Can't find what you need? Reply to any of our emails and a real person will get back to you.

When does the Kickstarter campaign launch?

We're planning to launch soon. Join the list and we'll email you the moment it's live. Early-bird spots are limited.

What is Kickstarter? Do I pay now?

Kickstarter lets people back a product before it's made. You pledge on launch day, and you're only charged if the campaign reaches its goal when it ends. If it doesn't, nobody pays. How Kickstarter works, and why we chose it.

How much will LockIN cost?

We'll announce final pricing at launch. Early-bird backers will get up to 40% off the expected retail price.

What is the $1 VIP reservation?

After you join the list, you can reserve a VIP spot for $1. VIPs get our lowest price, 50% off retail, held for them after launch through a private Kickstarter link. The $1 is refundable anytime. Read the VIP terms.

How does the decision matrix work?

The matrix splits tasks into four boxes: urgent or not, important or not. Start with what's important, schedule what's important but not urgent, and limit or drop the rest. It's sometimes called the Eisenhower matrix.

Are the cards reusable?

Yes. A paper template sits inside each clear sleeve, and you write on the sleeve with the dry-erase marker. Wipe it clean with the built-in eraser and reuse it. Refill decks of templates are included.

Which planning board will I get?

The decision matrix comes in two options: clear laser-cut acrylic or whiteboard. The campaign's reward tiers will show what each one includes.

Where do you ship?

We'll confirm shipping regions and estimated delivery dates on the Kickstarter page before launch.
