LockIN (“we”, “us”) runs this website. This policy explains what happens to the information you give us before and during our Kickstarter campaign.
What we collect
- Your first name and email address, when you join the waitlist. We use your name to greet you in our emails.
- Email engagement: our email service records whether messages are delivered and opened, so we can stop sending to addresses that don't work.
We don't ask for anything else, and we don't run advertising trackers on this site.
How we use it
- To email you about LockIN: the launch, build updates every few weeks, and the campaign itself.
We rely on your consent when you sign up. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately.
Who we share it with
Only the services that make this work, each bound by its own privacy terms:
- Kit stores the email list and sends our emails.
- Kickstarter handles your pledge if you back the campaign. That's covered by Kickstarter's own privacy policy.
We never sell or rent your information, and we don't share it with advertisers.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies. To greet you by name on the thank-you page, your first name is kept briefly in your browser tab and disappears when you close it.
How long we keep it
We keep your email until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, and in any case no longer than needed once the campaign and deliveries are finished.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete the information we hold about you, and you can withdraw consent at any time. If you're in the UK or EU, you can also complain to your local data protection authority. Email us and we'll reply within 30 days.
